Volunteering at Briar Bush is serious fun!
Like most non-profit nature centers, Briar Bush could not accomplish its goals without the dedicated help of generous volunteers. Youth volunteers are especially important - they assist the staff by handling many jobs that would take too much time for us to accomplish on our own. At the same time, youths have the ability to learn and experience things unique to a small suburban nature center.
Basic requirements for all our volunteers are a love of nature, dependability, and dedication. Youths up to age 18 years of age can volunteer with an adult or on their own, depending on the nature of work being done. Volunteer training sessions are held monthly.
If you are interested in general volunteering, print a Youth Volunteer Information form and a Medical Form, complete both including parent's signature, and send it to:
